I would like to start competing. Where do I start?

The best place to start competing is at club or schools level, build your confidence and progress to provincial and then national level events. Visit our Clubs and Provinces pages for info - most tend to run Facebook groups which you can join to keep up to date and some publish their events to the Sixty40 Bodyboarding Calendar. To compete in SA Champs you will need to first enter your provincial trials and be selected for the team. SABA Circuit events are open to all and details of our events can be found on our Calendar.

How much does it cost to enter a SABA Ciruit event?

To enter a SABA Circuit event you must be a paid up member of SABA. Annual SABA Membership Fees are R300 for Pro Division members and R200 for all other members. Contest entry fees are R270 for the Pro Division and R160 for all other Divisions. To download the Membership Application Form visit the Downloads page.
