The small town of Lamberstbay on the west coast of South Africa is going to be rocked out of proportion this coming Easter with over a hundred bodyboarders visiting the West Coast town. Every year with the West Coast Classic compo the town is converted into a festive surf atmosphere with lots of sea bleached hairdo's, jeans, flip flops, surf lingo and lots of "West Coast specials". This year will be no different from the last two. Competing for R20k, which is the first prize for pro division is bringing the cream of the crop of bodyboarding to the West Coast. They will give it all they have by riding big pits, doing massive flips, hitting air forwards and reverses to be in contention for the cash. The WCC also makes history this year by being the first SA surfing event to be live streamed to the internet.
