20th April 2009
The date for the 2009 Cave Rock Challenge sponsored by Hot Buttered, Custom X and Elemenohpee has been put on standby for Wednesday 22nd April. With Wednesday being a public holiday, those of you who are not competing, feel free to come down to the Bluff and watch this prestigious contest. The contest has been put on standby for Wednesday due to a lot of the riders having prior works commitments such as David Lee etc, therefore there should be a few more entries.

Entries are open to ALL BODYBOARDERS who feel they can bust out and beat the rest, those who feel it is their time to shine. Entries will close on the evening of Tuesday 21st April.

Some of the riders competing in the contest are Jared Houston who has flown all the way from Cape Town, World Tour campaigner Mark McCarthy from Richards Bay, Durban local boy Michael "Ratt" Ostler and International Hot Buttered team rider Wez Fischer along with the rest.

With it being Voting Day, the waves have definitely been given the CKZNBA's vote as they are predicted to be 6ft+ so it will be very entertaining to see the professionals do what they do best.

All competitors and contest officials are to meet at Cave Rock at 6:30am as the contest will be a 7 o'clock start.
