Cape Classic Accomodation

We at the Western Province Bodyboarding Association have been scouting around for deals on offer to riders competing in the Cape Classic 2008 and here is what we have found.
Afrique du Sud Backpackers (old St John's Lodge- est.1989), Corner St. Johns and Main Roads, Sea Point, is one of the oldest in Cape Town and is the best-positioned seaside Lodge in Cape Town. It nestles comfortably between the Atlantic Ocean and Lion's Head and has the city and Waterfront on one side and the renowned Camps Bay and Clifton beaches on the other. All these attractions are easily accessible by buses, mini-taxi's and Rikkis.
The Lodge offers all the usual facilities such as a guest kitchen, common room, washing machine/dryer and a bar / braai area and it is situated fairly centrally. This central location will be very valuable when it comes to making it too the pick up point so that we can go searching for the best waves.
Oh yeah�did I mention that Afrique du Sud have agreed to pick you up and drop you off at the airport? No�well know you know and they have also further shown their hospitality by offering all residents/competitors lifts to the early morning pick up point!
As it stands prices are inclusive of transport and are as follows:-
Dorms (5 - 6 beds) - R120 per person, per night.
Double Rooms - R260 per room, per night.
